MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
The hardness in the soft annealed state is 190HBW.
The hardness after quenching can reach above HRC60.
Usually used to make blanking dies, stamping dies, bending dies, finishing dies, etc. with a thickness of no more than 8mm.
Suitable for making cold wire drawing dies, wire dies and other five-stamping dies, ejector pins, guide bushes, ejector pins and middle drill bits, etc.
HEAT TREATMENT
Quenching: first preheat to 550-650℃, then heat to 800-850℃, and quench in oil.
Tempering: heating to 150-200°C, holding at temperature, then cooling in still air.
FORGING
The forging temperature range of SKS3 steel is 1050-850℃.
